Middle School

The curriculum of Corpus Christi Catholic School exists within a total Christ-centered environment. This environment enables the community to live and model Catholic values. We believe in the dignity and uniqueness of each individual. Therefore, we strive to provide a curriculum that supports the development of the whole person; mind, heart and spirit. We believe that all learning experiences in our school form students in Christ to become life-long learners and productive citizens.

Students in the Middle School are taught the following subjects daily: religion, language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies. Included in the middle school curriculum are Spanish, Coding (STREAM), P.E. and Co-curricular.  Students also attend Mass weekly. 

All Middle School scholars are issued Chromebooks by Corpus Christi Catholic School at the beginning of the school year.  By having all middle school scholars using the same device, we not only provide an equitable opportunity for each scholar, but we also ensure that all the devices can be managed and maintained effectively and responsibly.  To learn more about our 1:1 Chromebook Middle School Program, click here.  

Our middle school curriculum is focused on STREAM (Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) through an inquiry-based learning approach. This method of teaching and learning encourages intellectual engagement and fosters deep understanding through the development of a hands-on and research-based disposition towards teaching and learning. Corpus Christi Catholic School scholars will:

• tackle real-world questions, issues and controversies
• develop questioning, research and communication skills
• solve problems or create solutions
• collaborate within and beyond the classroom
• develop deep understanding of content knowledge

Through our STREAM initiative, Corpus Christi Catholic School graduates will be:

• Technologists, who use tools in appropriate, strategic ways
• Disciples of Christ, who recognize and use their God-given gifts
• Engineers, who design and build
• Mathematicians, who define and solve problems
