Elementary & Middle School Spanish / 3rd- 8th grade Art Teacher
I began teaching in Catholic Schools 8 years ago and have loved it very much. I love teaching Spanish and Art to our CCCS scholars and look forward to enhancing their spirituality as they journey here at Corpus Christi Catholic School. Born and raised in Houston, Texas, I attended St. Vincent de Paul in elementary, St. Agnes for High School and graduated with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Spanish. I am happily married with one son who graduated from Corpus Christ Catholic School. I am now enrolled in the University of St. Thomas for the Master’s in Theology program after completing 6 years of formation in becoming a Third Order Carmelite. This has formed my own spirituality and how I approach teaching our scholars in the ways of Christ: ask questions for deeper understanding and do so with love. In the way of St. Therese of Lisieux and through the Scriptures, I strive to do all things in love of Christ.
1 Corinthians 16:14
Do everything in love. And do everything with love. Let all that you do be done in love. Let all your things be done with charity.
