Middle School Science Teacher

After moving to Texas from the Philippines with her family, Miss Arceo attended Corpus Christi Catholic School in 8th grade. While attending college, an opportunity was presented to work at Corpus’s Colt Camp (after school care) and as a substitute teacher.

Miss Arceo was excited, happy, and eager to share her love of science with the students, as the Corpus Christi Catholic community always felt like “home” to her. Her love of science and working with children led her to teach Middle School Science in 2014.

Miss Arceo has participated in different academic programs, such as the Rice University STEM engagement program – ConocoPhillips Applied Mathematics Program (AMP!) for 8th grade in 2014-2015 and 7th grade in 2018-2019. She also participated in Rice University’s Rice Excellence in Science Instruction (RemSci) program in 2017-2018.  She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Houston.
